It's my fairly strong opinion that there simply haven't, to date, been enough posts on this blog about the NYC Waterfalls project. There have, in fact, been only three -- or, three with images: of a Photoshop mock-up of the Brooklyn Bridge waterfall; of the waterfall towers a month or so ago, but with no water flowing from them yet; and, a few days ago, of the waterfalls at night.
What has been missing, of course, until now, are photos of the waterfalls during the day.
This is no longer the case; one may now find photos of the waterfalls during the day. (Or, one photo: some of the waterfalls, given the recent hazy/humid weather here in New York, look better at night than during the day, and are, in fact, not worth taking pictures of during the day, although they're nice enough to look at "in person".)
The photo below, though, is special. Why it is special: because I am a nerd (or a geek; can't remember the difference), and a web developer, I have set things up so that you can click on the photo below, at which point it will switch itself from being a daytime photo of the Brooklyn Bridge waterfall to being a nighttime photo of the Brooklyn Bridge waterfall. This should be at least twenty or thirty seconds of fun for you if you're a geek (or a nerd; can't remember the difference):
